Carly Jo Jackson

With a soulful voice, Austin-based artist Carly Jo Jackson brings the heat of the sunshine from her home state of Florida and mixes it with some Texas grit. She is known for her energy, charismatic stage presence and unique raspy vocals. She is a born entertainer and she gives it her all, whether performing solo or with her band.
She caught the attention of some big names in the music and entertainment business, opening shows for Michael McDonald (who also provided vocals on her 2019 EP Au Naturel), Kenny Loggins and Dennis Quaid and serving as a musical inspiration to Jeff Bridges who featured her on his Sleep Club website. Other notable performances include her appearance in 2014 on America’s Got Talent, where she was featured in two televised episodes and advanced to Judgement Week; performing as an Emerging Artist at the nations largest music festival, Summerfest in Milwaukee, WI; singing backup vocals to Kenny Loggins at 2019’s Hawaii Songwriters Festival; performing at the She Rises Music Festival in Taos, New Mexico alongside Yola, KT Tunstall, Mary Gautier, and more; performing at the renowned 30A Songwriters Festival; opening a San Francisco 49ers game; and winning the 2015 Belk Southern Musician Showcase where she performed at festivals throughout the southeast.
In Austin since 2020, she is a regular on the local music scene with weekly residencies at White Tiger and Parlor Room while also using it as homebase for her touring. She also in co-lead vocalist for Austin alternative rock band Konzi. She has appeared several times on Fox TV's Good Day Austin. She gives back to the Austin community through her support of Andrea Magee's Music Helps organization to bring music to the Helping Hands children's home.
